Ford Repair: 2000 Grand marquis BCM, grand marquis, body control module

My automatic headlights come on for no reason; my dome light comes on for no reason; my keyless entry isn't functioning properly---I think a body control module may be the answer, but I don't know where it is!

There is a good reason to be concerned, because BCM  is not cheap and it cannnot be returned after it  has been installed. There is a diagnostic procedure that allows a tech to determine if the bcm is the problem or not. The problem with diagnosing a BCM is that you have to have a computer scan tool to communicate with and perform fuction test to the Bcm. You did provide a good piece of info.. The fact is the headlites come on for no reason tells me the BCM has lost touch with the rest of the vehicle. I would have this tested by a qualified tech before you go any further... Ty...
