Ford Repair: Brake bleeding on 1995 F-250 pickup, vacumn pump, f 250

Question
After replacing both front hoses, lines, and rear lines I am having a hard time of obtaining proper pedal height after bleeding. I now also have the dashboard brakelight on. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Malik,
It sounds like you need a new Master Cylinder. There are only 2 reasons the red brake light will come on. One is if fluid in master cylinder is low. Two is if the parking brake is on. Unless your truck is a diesel, then a bad vacumn pump could cause the light. GOOD LUCK!
