i have a 94 mustang gt. the automatic transmission is going bad. I was wondering, is it possible to turn an automatic into a manual? I am pretty sure it is.  If so, do you have any idea of how much it would cost to have it done(price including the new transmission)?

  Sure, it's possible.  It's not the most common swap in the Mustang world, but it's definitely not unheard of.  Costs will vary wildly depending on how you go about doing the swap.  If you used a junkyard car for all of your parts and did the work yourself it probably wouldn't cost you any more than $500-$750 or so.  If you went with all new parts and a really stout brand new transmission you could easily be looking at $3000 or more if someone else does the work.  I'd say the average is probably somewhere around $1500...maybe a bit more if you include labor.  Hope this helps.
