Ford Repair: F250 Special Duty, wheel camper, true dragon

Question
We have a 1994 F250 Special Duty 2wd (72k miles)that we use to tow our 5th wheel camper.  We've been told its really a 350 with a 250 dress.  It was ordered straight from Ford by the RV dealer.  It has all 350 suspension, 410 dually drive axle with non duals.  It only has a 5.8L engine and needs more power.  Any sugestions on getting more power from this 351 cid?  Right now it is a true dragon fly when towing - Drags it but up a hill and flys down the other side.  Is a dual exhast system with headers and/or a power chip worth ivesting?

Thanks,

Mark

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would suggest that you make the investments you mentioned. Also, there is a throttle plate spacer that runs about 100.00 or so that can be gotten at Jegs.com or Summitracing.com. This swirls the air charge giving better performance.
