Ford Repair: 1999 mercury cougar, front wheel bearing, 1999 mercury cougar

Hi! Could you tell me if the front wheel bearing is pressed to the hub on a 99 mercury cougar.. Trying to find out before I tear it apart. Big Thanks BILL NORDEN

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Yes they are a press fit in to the steering knuckle.
Removal:
Remove the wheel knuckle.
Using the special tools, remove the wheel hub from the wheel knuckle.
Remove the inner and outer circlips.
Using the special tool, press out the wheel bearing.
Installation:
Install the outer circlip.
Using the special tool, press in the new wheel bearing.
Install the inner circlip.
Using the special tool, install the wheel hub to the wheel knuckle.
Install the wheel knuckle.
