Ford Repair: ford bronco, ford econoline van, radius arm bushings

Question
hello i own a 81' Ford bronco with a 6 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift with 39.5" super swampers. Recently i have completly redone the whole front end with all new parts. ball joints, knuckles, all steering components, spindles, axle pivot & radius arm bushings, and hubs. When i bought the truck 2 years ago the passenger side tire was leaning in really bad. The top of the tire is leaning in towards the shocks. All the new parts didnt help the leaning any. The drivers side tire is straight up and down like it is supposed to be. I havent gotten it aligned yet but i dont think alignment will do it any good and i believe my IFS support arm has to be bent because of how bad it is. Next a 460 conversion was done on the bronco and the motor is out of a 81' Ford econoline van. i am using a c6 tranny. The rear main seal is leaking oil really bad and i want to install a new one so how would i go about doing this, my tranny is already pulled for rebuilding. any knowledge of this would be very appreciated

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Remove the oil pan and the oil pump, if required.
Loosen all the crankshaft main bearing cap bolts, thereby lowering the crankshaft slightly but not to exceed 0.794 mm (1/32 inch) . CAUTION: Use care to prevent scratching or damaging the crankshaft sealing surfaces.
Remove the rear crankshaft main bearing cap, and remove the crankshaft rear oil seal from the rear crankshaft main bearing cap and cylinder block. On the cylinder block half of the crankshaft rear oil seal use a seal removal tool, or install a small metal screw in one end of the crankshaft rear oil seal, and PULL on the screw to remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.
Remove the oil seal retaining pin from the bearing cap if so equipped. The pin is not used with the split-lip seal.
As far as the Bronco goes....have it aligned.......the alignment tech should be able to tell you by the KPI/SAI readings IF the frame is twisted or bent.
Hope this helps,
Erik
