Ford Repair: trouble codes 223 and 224, circuit failure, dual plug

Question
I have a 93 Mustang 2.3L automatic. I'm getting diagnostic code 223 and 224. Their seems to be no spark coming from the front coil on 1 and 4. It also doesn't seem to have much get up and go once it has warmed up. It has a new radiator, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, remanufactured head, plugs and wires. I also cleaned the MAF sensor, and EGR valve to clear those codes. For this problem, I've had the coils and ignition module checked at Autozone. I don't know what to check next. Any ideas?  Thanks

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Stop taking items to Autozone for diagnostic work..they are parts people and don't always give the correct information.
I would suggest you have another look at the coil(s). The codes indicate that there is a failure in that system.
223...Loss of dual plug inhibit
224...PCM detected coil 1,2,3 or 4 primary circuit failure
