Ford Repair: 95 escort tranny swap, 1995 ford escort, ford escort

I have a 1995 ford escort that has an automatic transmission, i have another escort with a standard tranny that i would like to swap into it, are there any problems with doing this and how hard would it be?

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I wouldn't recommend it. You might have a pilot bearing that needs to be installed in the crankshaft, that might or might not have a hole for it with the automatic transmission engine. Stick with the auto trans.
