Ford Repair: fuel starved?, computer scan, 1991 ford explorer

I have a 1991 Ford Explorer with a v6 engine automatic and 78k miles. Problem is that it won't go over 30mph.  I give it gas and it just dies. I have to feather the gas peddle just to get up 30mph. stalls on a small climb.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
There are a few things to check here.
1. Basic tune up of your engine.
2. Fuel pressure
3. exhaust system.....make sure it isn't clogged.
4. computer scan for fault codes
