Motorcycle Repair: 1982 Suzuki GS550m engine problem, spark plugs, carburetor

Question
I just recently purchased this bike and was told that it was just given a tune-up and the carbs were cleaned.  When I first start up the bike, it runs fine, the engine revs up without a problem.  However, when I let it warm up and attempt to ride it, the engine seems to bog down, the throttle becomes unresponsive, and it wants to stall.  I have to give it full throttle, wait a second or two of sputtering, then the engine will start to rev up.  Any ideas?  Thanks so much!

Answer
Hi Bob,

Describe the appearance of the spark plugs to me. Remember which cylinder each plug is removed from. If there's a problem with a specific carburetor, we'll know.

Does the throttle respond better or worse with the choke applied?
