Ford Repair: loss of fuel, fuel pressure, chugs

2002 ford focus acts and chugs like it is running out of gas.i've had the fuel filter replaced:took it to dealership and the said the fuel pressure was fine. but i still have this problem and my car dies on me when i travel more than 20 miles from home and it's not overheating, no lights come on it will decealorate until it stops. it will start again and do the same thing. it is automatic transmission and has 57,000 miles. thanks.

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would suggest that you have the vehilce looked at by a different garage. Have them do a fuel pressure check as well as look at the engine for basic tune up condition. You should also, have the timing belt looked at, and replaced if needed. Another thing to have them check is the computer system for fault codes and to make sure that the sensors are with in range.
