Ford Repair: 1991 Ford Probe-alternator, windshield washer reservoir, high pressure hose

Question
I am trying to remove the alternator from my 1991 Ford Probe and am having some difficulty.  It is a 3.0 V6 model with AC.  The alternator is mounted on an accessory bracket (along with the power steering pump), and the whole bracket must be removed to take off the alternator.  According to the book, there are three bolts holding the bracket on...the upper, middle, and lower.  I quickly was able to identify and remove the upper and middle ones, and I thought the lower one was the one holding a small pulley on, so I removed it, and the bracket still wont come off...what am I missing?  Any help you could offer would be appreciated...thank you.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
These are the steps that I have for my book:

1 Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2 Remove the accessory drive belt.
3 Remove and set aside the windshield washer reservoir.
4 Remove the power steering pump reservoir return hose from the pump assembly.
5 Remove the power steering pump high pressure hose from the pump assembly.
6 Remove the upper accessory support bracket attaching bolt.
7 Remove the middle accessory support bracket attaching bolt.
8 Using a 1/2-inch drive breaker bar, pull back or the idler tensioner and remove the lower accessory support bracket attaching bolt.
9 Remove the attaching bolt from the side of the accessory support bracket at the A/C compressor brace.
10 Lift the alternator/accessory support bracket up to clear the engine and set aside carefully to remove electrical connectors.
11 Remove the electrical connectors from the alternator. Set alternator / accessory support bracket on bench for alternator removal.
12 Remove the alternator pivot bolt.
13 Remove the alternator mount bolt from the back side of alternator. Remove the alternator from the accessory support bracket.

Hope this helps,
Erik
