I need to remove the right front fender on my 98 ford taurus can you explain what all needs to be done to do so and how hard it is to do i will be replacing the fender with a new one and want to see if I can do it myself.

JUSTIN

taking the fender off is the easy part, putting it back on can be difficult.if you do this its pretty straight foward, just be carful with anything connected to the inner fender, like relays.i dont remember what year ford moved them to the firewall.when you put the fender back on lining everthing up correctly can be hard if your not a body man.remember you have to remove the inner fender(apron)also.some under car parts may have to be moved for easy acces, take your time and you will be ok.hope this helps.

What about where all the bolts are located will I have to remove the front bumper or door to gain access to the bolts?

Thanks again, justin

you can use a universal socket to gain acces the bolts.most auto parts stores sell them, sears and home depot has them also.i dont think you will have to remove the door but ford did change the fender in the middle of 98 so i am not positive. hope this helps.
