Ford Repair: Replace Engine, 351 ford, ford engine

I have a 1993 Ford F150 with a 302 EFI 5.0 engine and automatic transmission  and I have to replace the engine. I would like to have more horse power for towing. Will a 351 Ford engine work and if so what changes if any would I have to make.

Hello and thanks for the reply...I'll try to help.
For your year......it really isn't worth it unless you have lots of time and money. You'll need to replace the following:
mounts
exhaust
computer
complete wiring harness
fuel lines
EVAP system
Radiaotor
Torque convertor
possibly the transmission
vacuum harness
and other incidentals
