Ford Repair: altenator?, battery meter, ford expedition

Question
I have a 2003 ford expedition 4x4, the other day I starter it  and it almost didn't want to start. I got a few yards and the battery indicator was going down. It finally died and I jumped it and drove it to charge the battery. But, if I had the a/c, radio, etc on the battery meter kept going down. I took it to check out the battery and it was fine. I do live in phoenix, so hot weather could be a factor? Is it the altenator?

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would say it would be your alternator that isn't charging the battery. I would suggest that you have it checked after the battery is fully charged. Also, make sure to have the cables checked, both (+) and (-).
Hope this helps,
Erik
