Question1996 Ford Explorer XLT. 4.0 auto.
1. AM radio problem. Everytime I touch the brakes, turn on the wipers, etc. I can hear it through the speakers. It's a factory am/fm cassette. The only non-factory change made by the previous owner was the addition of trailer braking unit under the dash.
2. Front window washer will not spray all the time. To operate it, you must push in, sometimes it will other times not. It seems to work better when the wipers are turned on (not intermittant).
3. An adult tried to open the back door when the kiddie lock was on. they pulled so hard that it no longer opens the door. What should I look for when I get the panel off?

1. you need to add a noise supressor to the alternator.
2. I would look in to the replacement of the multi function switch where the wiper and washer controls are loacted.
3. I would look for a broken handle and replace it.
