i would like to no on a 1995 lincoln towncar ,do the timing cover help you get compression in the engine. i just rebuild my engine and have no compression at all.thank you.jdeb548744@aol.com

Are you talking about the 4.6L engine or the 5.0L engine? Either one.....the cover doesn't help with compression. I would check your timing chain and make sure it is in the correct position.
