Ford Repair: Truck wont start, voltage signal, electrical connector

Question
I have a 93 ranger 4-cly 2.3.. I have changed the fuel pump and filter the engine turns over but now I am lost, is there a sensor or relay or something else?? thanks for your help

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
Before you went out and replaced the fuel pump....did you check to see if there was a voltage signal at the electrical connector to the pump? Also, you might want to check the inertia switch.......your owner's manual will tell you the location.
Hope this helps,
Erik
