Ford Repair: frost plugs, lincon towncar, frost plugs

Question
"Last fall, I got a 90 Lincon Towncar but never got it on the road over the winter. Half way through the winter, the person I got the car from informed me that the coolent in the engine was 100% water, no antifreeze. I had my fingers crossed all winter that my block was not cracked and its not(as far as I looked). How ever the frost plugs (1 or 2) have popped out. I believe that if I give it a quick sanding on the touching surfaces, apply JB Weld or something like it, pop the plug back in and let it dry for the propper time, should be good enough. What do you think.";

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
 Freeze plugs are cheap and CAN NOT be reused. You'll need to buy one or two new ones. They are press fit. When installing them ONLY TAP ON THE OUTTER EDGE......not in the center, you'll collapse them if you do.
Hope this helps,
