Electrontic Fuel Pump may need replaced. How hard is it? and can we have the fuel pump tested when it is out of the vehicle. Auto just died while driving and no noise is coming from the fuel pump when under auto.  Auto will not start now...What is the recommended PSI for the fuel pump...

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
 Before ripping the tank out, make sure there is power getting TO the fuel pump. Check the inertia switch (look in owner's manual for location). The PSI range that I've always used is 39-42 PSI at idle or key on engine off, and around 60 PSI with the vac. regulator unplugged at idle.
