Ford Repair: Headlamps go out while driving., lamp switch, electric distribution

Question
The headlamps in my 1994 Ford Ranger go out suddenlly, then come on, like a breaker is kicking in and out. It does this on both Hi and Low beam. It dosen't do this all the time and weather dosen't seem to have any effect. Is the breaker in the headlight switch or in the electric distribution box under the hood? Or do I have some other problem?
Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would suggest that you take a look at the head lamp switch, located in the dash...........IF it is there, take a close look at the wiring and connector. It is usually there that the problem is located.
Hope this helps,
Erik
