Ford Repair: Engine Stalling, 67 ford, battery cables

Question
Hi I have a 67 Ford Mustang and the problem is that the car starts up fine but after driving it for about 5 minutes it just stalls out, or it might just die out after being started for a couple of minutes. And when I go to start it up again it won't turn over. Now the first
time it did that to me I let it sit for a couple of hours came back and it started right up again with no problem. But then it eventually stalled out again.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
I would suggest that you check the battery cables.....It seems that the starter and charging circuit aren't being completed. When running it seems that th battery is "running" the vehicle, and not the alternator.
Hope this helps,
Erik
