Ford Repair: throttle probs?, catalytic fuel, catalytic converters

Question
i have a 95 mystique with a 2.5l ,my car started sputtering in low rpms almost sounds like its missing.
no check engine light and wires are new need help .CATALYTIC?? FUEL?

Catalytic Converters are a common concern with this engine, Ford issued a PCM update to change the normal operating range so they don't trigger a Diagnostic Trouble Code and don't require replacing.  Most converter or engine sensor problems would trigger a Diagnostic Trouble Code and a Check Engine Light.  If your Check Engine Light is not coming on, I would guess that the problem is in the secondary ignition system (spark plugs, wires, and coil).
