Ford Repair: 89 ford bronco 302 V8, ford bronco, pan gasket

Question
My 89 bronco, 302 V8, runs rough, this started of a sudden. Won't idle without pushing ecclerator, won't keep running while driving. Blows black smoke. Engine light on. Recently had rear main seal and oil pan gasket and new exhaust system installed. What's my solution, PLEASE.

Answer
Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
You need to find out why the check engine light is on. You'll need access to a scan tool, or bring it to the shop. From the sounds of it--it sounds like the MAP (mainofold Absolute Pressure) sensor has died or gone out of range...or even the vac. line is off of it. Also, you might want to check to see if the Oxygen sensor is plugged in, after the exhaust work was done.
Hope this helps,
Erik
