Ford Repair: brake bleeding, rear abs, ford ranger

Question
I replaced the front caplipers and rotors and the master cylinder.  I cannot get the brakes to bleed properly.  What am I doing wrong.  96 ford ranger.  rear abs with power assist.  The back brakes will grab but nothing up front.  thanks

Answer
Hi Phill,
Fill the master cylinder and open one front caliper at a time and let it gravity bleed until fluid runs out the bleeder. Keep master full and let it bleed for a couple of minutes. If it doesn't come out, pump the pedal a couple of times until it starts to flow. Then bleed it the regular way. If that doesn't work, you will need to get it to your mechanic and have it pressure bleed. GOOD LUCK!
