Ford Repair: E brake light, ford ranger, hi bob

1990 Ford Ranger XLT sitting for about 5 months, when driving now the e-brake light will not go out.  Any ideas?

Hi Bob,
There are only 2 things that can turn on the red brake light. One is low brake fluid the other is the park brake is on or the park brake switch is bad. Check the level of your brake fluid, if that isn't it take it to your mechanic for a brake inspection.
