Answer
Thanks for your question....I'll try to help.
What I would check for your back up light is the reverse light switch. It is most likely "stuck" in the on position.

Ford used two different manual transmissions, the Mitsubishi and the Mazda made 5-speed OverDrive (OD) transmissions. The back-up light switch is located on the right side of the transmission on the Mitsubishi, and on the left side shift cover on the Mazda.

Manual Transmissions
Apply the parking brake and place the gear shift lever in any position other than Neutral (N) or Reverse (R).

Raise and safely support the vehicle.

According to the manufacturer, no fluid will leak from the transmission when the switch is removed, but as a precautionary measure, bring a drain pan under the vehicle with you.

Disconnect the electrical wire harness plug from the transmission back-up light switch.

Remove the switch from the transmission.

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. If necessary, or since your there, check the transmission fluid level and top-off as needed.

As far as your door ajar light goes......I would check the drivers door latch asymbly. I believe that the light switch is an internal part of the latch. Remove the door panel and you should be able to gain access to the latch asym.
Before you remove the panel, look to see if there is a "push-siwtch" located in the door jamb. If there is, that is the door ajar warning switch, and is most likely the problem. Easy to replace that-----unscrew it, remove wires, install a new one, close the door to make the adjustment.
I hope this help, if I you need more help, let me know,
