Ford Repair: 1999 Ford Explorer, idles rough, reputable repair shop, computer command

I have a 1999 Ford Explorer that idles rough when the engine is stone cold in the morning. It seems to be worse the colder the temerature is.
This only lasts for about a minute and does not happen again till the engine is stone cold again.
what could cause this trouble, and how can I fix it. Your help would be appreciated.

Mr. King,

It could be your idle air control or your computer command not giving the signal to provide more fuel on starting. The only way to know this is to take your vehicle to a reputable repair shop and have them place your vehicle on a scan tool. Hope that this helps and good luck.
