Ford Repair: 96 Explorer, turn signal problem, emergency flashers, flasher relay

Question
Right turn signal does not work, left sig ok. All bulbs ok, changed flasher 3x. When right signal is activated the flasher makes a loud, continuous buzzing- neither front or rear signal bulbs light. When emergency flashers are on only the left frt/rr lights flash- the right side is dead. No current to sockets, frt/rr. Problem is not intermittent and signal was fine one day broke the next w/o any apparent significant event or cause. Shaking, beating, jiggiling and moving stalk, negative. All other systems, electrical and otherwise ok. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Answer
If all of the bulbs and the flasher relay are good, I would guess that the Multi-function Switch is bad.  The switch is the stalk that controls the turn signals and emergency flashers, as well as the wipers, washers, hi-beams, and flash-to-pass feature.

I hope this helps,
Dave
