Ford Repair: Air Bag Sensor Light, ford probe gt, strange coincidence

I just had a complete brake job done on my 97 Ford Probe GT. When I picked up the car I noticed that the Air Bag Sensor Light was flashing.  Could this be a cause and effect situation or coincidence.  The car has low mileage and this was the first brake repair. The car has been problem free since the day it came out of the showroom.

I can't think of any reason for an Air Bag Light coming on after replacing the brakes.  It is a strange coincidence if you've never had a Air Bag Light on before.  Maybe the shop that did the brake job can diagnose, or at least scan the system for codes.
