Ford Repair: fuel will not get to injecters, throttle position sensor, automatic overdrive

 Dear Dave,
   I have a 1983 Lincoln Cotinental with automatic overdrive..I am not getting fuel to the fuel injectors..ive alreday replaced the fuel pump and filter..im getting fuel to the throttle body but no fuel is getting from the back of the throttle body to the injectors..and im getting power to the injectors...this car only has 42,000 original miles...so if at all possible could you please tell me your opinion or recommend someone that might know...hope you can help

I'm sorry, I don't have any information or service manuals for vehicles older than 1994.  I spoke to a technician that worked on these vehicles, and he suggested that the Throttle Position Sensor might be stuck. Try tapping on the sensor with the handle of a screwdriver.  I guess this was a common problem.
