Ford Repair: help help help, inertia switch, swith

i was in an accident were a trruck hit me in the side now the it was barely hit the airbag did not diploy but it will not start up because someone told me if the car is hit in the side then a swith disengages the gas to avoid explosion my question is how do you get it to start up agian

 Yeah...that's what is called an inertia switch.  It's a pretty basic part to replace.  Basically when it encounters a certain amount of force, it disrupts the circuit and kills power to the fuel pump so the risk of fire is reduced.  Replace it and you should be good to go.  Hope this helps.
