Ford Repair: Brakes system, air bubbles, vacuum hose

Question
i have a ford courier 1976 and i just change the master cylinder and still the brake is still travels to the floor. i bleed it 2X, but stiill no work. what you think....

Answer
Carl,

To properly bleed the brakes, start with the passenger rear. You will need someone in the car to press the brake down slowly 3-4 times as you are bleeding the brakes and keeping the reservoir full, till there are no more air bubbles. Use a clear hose and fill up a clear jar that you can stick the hose into and when you see no more air bubbles tighten that one up, then do the same thing with the passenger front, driver rear and driver front....IN THAT ORDER. Make sure that the vacuum hose is not off yor brake booster and that the control valve is good on the master cylinder (reservoir). Hope that this helps and if you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck.
