Ford Repair: wipers, vaccum, bronco

I'm trying to convert my '68 Bronco wipers from vaccum to eletric motor. Is there drilling required in order to make the wiper mechanism fit. I can get it to fit in the same holes but travel is very limited.

Yes, I would drill to get a little more travel. If you do not want to drill, you can change the wiper mechanism from a '70 bronco. Here is a good site to get more info: http://classicbroncos.com
