Ford Repair: radio wiring, amp meter, radio wiring

hi my name is josh and i own a 1994 ford explorer.I want to take out the tape player and put in a C.D. player. My problem is that the wires coming out of the truck are not color coded, so how do i know which wire to hook up to which?

You will need to take an amp meter and test to see which wire is hot and hook your wires up that way. I find it very odd that there is no color to any of the wires. If you could provide me with the color of the wires I could better help you.
