Ford Repair: alignment, alignment problem, ball joints

Question
I just bought a 89 escort with "new tires".  Turns out the
new tires were to hide the fact that there is a majoy
alignment problem.  The front tires are both angled out on
the top and my drunk-ass mechanic husband says there is
no adjustment and nothing is bent.  I know there must be a
way to fix it.  Any ideas on what's wrong?  Can I fix it
myself?  Please help.

Answer
SASA

there is adjustments.the toe could be out the ball joints may be bad,bad tie rods.you can adjust the tie rods by lossening the nuts and move them in or out.your best bet would be to have a garage do an alignment for you for about 50 bucks.hope this helps.
