Ford Repair: Alternator Idiot Light, loose connection, instrument panel

I have a 65 Mustang.  The idiot lights did not work because the bulbs were out.  New bulbs are in and the alternator light stays on but the unit is charging.

It sounds like you have a bad ground. Check your wires behind the instrument panel. The only other reason that this would occur would be if the unit is not fully charging, then you should check for a loose connection at the altenator. Hope that this helps. Good luck.
