Ford Repair: Egnition switch, ford f 250, slide hammer

I just bought a new replacement switch how hard is it to replace. its on a 93 ford F 250 diesel

Its easy, i am assumeing you mean the starter selenoid or the key tumbler.  The starter selenoid is in the engine compartment mounted on the wall or on the starter itself.  The key tumpler is tricky to change but can be done if you have a slide hammer to take the old one out.  Get a repair manual for more detailed instructions.  Diesels may have some special rules due to having two batteries and a much heavier duty starter.
