Ford Repair: C-4 to T-5 swap?, mustang coupe, clutch cable

I have a 1966 mustang coupe.  Was originaly 6 cylinder automatic.  I have recently purchased 289 w/ T-5.  I would like to use the clutch cable opposed to the bulky linkages of the '66.  I have removed all the pedals and holding brackets from a late model '80's Thunderbird.  Is there any way to incoperate the pedals and the cable into the Mustang?  I have also taken the brake pedal.  Can that easily be placed into the Mustang, too?

Yes, the cable and the pedals can be incorporated into the mustang but you may have to do some fabricating. Or you can go to http://toploaderheaven.com or http://www.4speedtoploaders.com and purchase the kits and hardware that you would need to make the switch. Hope that this helps and Good luck.
