Ford Repair: I need an engine wiring harness, ford lincoln mercury, engine wiring harness

the engine wiring harness for my 84 gt350 is dry rotted in certain places and is shorting out (5 spd v-8). Where can I find one? Is there another year model Ford?Lincoln?Mercury I can get one from or aftermarket?

You would have to go to a junk yard.  They only still make the harness for the EFI engines, and they are very pricey.  Carb cars are not complicated, my sugestion is get your ignition hooked up, hook up your gagues, and the starter switch and go from there.  I have very few original wires left on my 81 and everything works the same.  You can control everything on the car with three wires coming from the ignition, three wires for the gagues, and maybe six wires for the headlights.  Its good to simplify.
