Answer
I dont know a lot about the air ride systems but I owned a 90 lincon LSC and now have a 96 contiental, both having the air ride suspension.  They are all notorius for having expensive upkeep and confusing scematics.  If it isnt pumping up to the sky or draging the ass on the street I realy would ignore it.  Test it out, sit a few people in the trunk and weigh it down so it has a good load, start the car and if its working good it should level off the car to a normal height.  If its not working right, I think all you could do is take it to a dealership.  As for the light, you can take the dash apart and rip the bulb out, or apply a nice piece of black electrical tape.  Also, if the light is flashing it may be indicating a problem with the engine and have nothing to do with the suspension at all.
