Ford Repair: 68 ford stroker, 351 windsor, ford fe

i have a 68 ford 360 and i want to stroke it make a real bad sreet rod i found a 427 crank, will every thing ford fe exchange? if so where would i go to find rods and what size?

  Actually, the 360 shares virtually nothing with the 427 (and the 427 shares almost nothing with any other FE models).  A 427 crank won't fit into a 360, but a 390 crank will.  A 360 is essentially just a 390 block with a 352 crank.  If you really want a 427, I'd suggest either buying a 427 straight out (although parts selection can be difficult...Ford cast 24 different part numbers for 427 blocks), or you could get a 351 windsor block and put a stroker kit into it.  Many of the Ford Racing 351 blocks can be bored and stroked to 427 cubic inches.  This would probably be cheaper than buying a 427 anyway, as they're rarer than most of Ford's hi-po engines and usually very expensive.  Hope this helps.
