Ford Repair: elec, star wheel, ford ranger


Question
i have a ford ranger 1986 i have changed the complete distubtior and all the elect parts in it  new plug wires and plugs five postes on the distubtior fire hot hot  and one just fires a tiny bit in fact i can hold that one that is barely firing until i reb the eng up then it knock ne off it  i cant figure out why it is firing like that   i have had it in shop and they  cant figure out why it doing that can you help or maybe turn me to someone on this site

its hard to understand the question.it could be your coil,voltage regulator,condensor.when you put the distributor back in did you make sure the timing was correct?.remember if you replaced the whole distributor you MUST line up the armature (looks like a star wheel)under the cap with the magnet on the stator. i would also check the ignition module. hope this helps.
