Honda Repair: ignition timing**, model type, timing belt

say I replace my engine with another one; same model, type, etc.; will the new engine throw off the ignition timing. or does it remain the same? also , what can cause for an ignition timing to be thrown off ?

If you replace your engine with the exact same engine just from a different car the timing will be fine.

There are lots of things that can throw it off depending on the car. Some include, timing belt slipping or broken. Timing belt not installed correctly. Distributor not installed correctly. Camshaft sensor faulty, etc.
