Honda Repair: 2000 Odessey, steering wheel lock, neutral safety switch

Question
Intermittent starting problem.  Problem never exhibits at dealership. Starting numerous times ok, then out of blue no start.  Battery tested ok, lights, radio all electrical fine.  No started solenoid click.  Sometimes steering wheel lock and issue other times not part of problem.  Is there a neutral safety switch in the system that can be bypassed?

Answer
Bob, intermitent = difficult to diagnose. But, with you suggesting the "steering wheel lock" this is an indication that the ignition switch is failing you. Since you have basically eliminated all other sources of possible failure the most significant area would be the ignition switch. Or an aftermarket alarm? If you have one installed.
