Honda Repair: 93 Civic Ex Lug Stud Stripped and Nut Stuck, lug nut, tire shop

Long story short. Lug stud is stripped on the hub end and the nut is stuck on the other end with no give on the nut end. It might be that the hub opening is stripped. So when i turn the nut it spins the whole stud. i might have to just cut off the lug nut. and get a new hub. What other suggestions do you have?

Jimmy, regardless you are going to have to replace the stud period. Not necessarily the hub. You need a heat source. And a torch would be really handy. Or simply try using pressure and an air compressed 1/2" gun. Pry bars behind the wheel and alot of speed can help get this off. Unfortunately this is a real PITA and don't feel like you are the only one in the boat who has done this or come across this situation. I have many times more than i want too. If money is not a problem bolt the other 3 lugs on and take it to a wheel and tire shop they will get it off for you.
