Honda Repair: Hond, brake rotor, 2003 honda accord

Question
2003 honda accord 4cy. 60,000kl squeeky noise from rear pass. side supposedly the strut seems very solid when trying to rock the car , sounds like metal rubbing against metal, what gives

Answer
Steve, inspect the rear brake pads ASAP! If they have gone to far they will start to damage the rotor = replacement with brand new ones vs. having the rotor turned. Take your finger and see if the surface of your brake rotor is smooth or rough/abrasive. DO NOT do this after you have been driving your car for a while since the rotor could be extremely hot. Give the rotor 15 mins or so to cool down. Removal of the wheel would be ideal for a more precise inspection. Check both sides.
