95 honda accord wipers sweep by themselves i understand its an electrical short ive checked the ground behind the left front light where else might i look or do i replace the plug

Brian, replace the wiper control arm. Or there is a short in the steering column wires, but, doubtful. In my experiences it is the arm itself. Go to a junkyard and remove theres or buy one that is already removed from the vehicle from a Honda recycler. Remove the steering wheel and this will give you access to the screws to remove this. Simple plug and play after that.
