Answer
Jerry, crank angle sensors are common to fail when timing belt is replaced. Replace the crank angle sensor. It is located near the lower crank pulley and the plastic timing belt cover. Simple plug and play and (1) 10mm bolt is all that is needed to reset this. Remanufactured distributors are ok in my book. But, about 1 in 10 fails. Fix the sensor first and double check that timing is set perfectly on these D series motors. Even being 1 tooth off can cause problems!
