Hello, yesterday my brother changed the clutch from my honda civic 1997 but the grinding sound still continued he said that it was the first time he encoutered this...the transmission grinds but stops when the clutch pedal is pressed...what can this be? He said that it is the opposite when it is a clutch problem

Rosalia, this is a transmission problem! Clutchs are bad in the transmission. Replace the transmission with a used low milage tranny or a new one. Shift the gears when you are testing a used unit. Have the flywheel turned too and make sure you replaced the throw out bearing as well. Also bleed the clutch master cylinder and replace the fluid too!
